Peter Marx

Peter Marx is responsible for Nyby in Germany and supports municipalities and organisations in launching and running Nyby projects. He has a background as a communications advisor and is at his best when he can bring people together, create momentum and make complex challenges more manageable through good solutions.

Peter is particularly committed to inclusive communities, and sees task-based collaboration as a modern and practical way of organising help and contribution, in support of those who need it most.

What drives me

How a society takes care of its most vulnerable says a great deal about who we are. I believe we need to counteract isolation and make it easier for people to contribute to one another in everyday life.

Nyby provides a framework for connecting people and tasks in a safe and structured way, so that collaboration actually happens in practice. I think most people want to contribute when the threshold is low and the framework is right — and that is exactly what motivates me in my work with Nyby in Germany.
